David in Sports

David is now in Grade One. And I am thinking about what sports he will get into when he grows up, or at least a little older. He is very skinny for now, mostly because of genetics, as I was also very skinny when I was young. He could probably be a good runner, as he runs pretty fast and actually likes running. He is also pretty active.

As I was browsing through the net, I have come across a site on coach gifts. And I realized that there really are a lot of gifts that one can give his coach. I think I will need to take note of this especially if in the very near future, David decides to get into sports.

Getting into Tight Budget

Being a wife and a mother of three, I am obliged to tightly budget our finances and buy only the necessities and some “wants” if the budget permits. I regularly go to supermarket to buy some household needs, but I am sometimes pissed off because some of the items displayed have no tags and it’s hard for me to calculate my groceries in advance.

That was before, because now, most of the department stores, grocery stores and supermarkets have a stand by barcode scanner, where it displays the value of the items even before I get to the cashier to pay. In this way, I’ll be able to know the price of the item in advance. I’m glad they have invented these types of scanners. Ah, the price of being in a tight budget.

Love Theater Plays

Who doesn’t love watching theater plays? Well, I do! I love to watch theater plays back in high school and now that I am married and all, I still want to watch professional theater plays especially musical ones like Miss Saigon, Wicked, Les Miserables and more.

Anyway, I was hoping that someday when I am able to visit my cousins in the US, I would be able to watch theater plays in New York especially Wicked. My cousin said she will be willing to pay for the theater tickets if I could come and visit her. Isn’t that cool?

Now, the problem is, how can I get myself to the US? LOL!

Problem Sink

I have been checking out kitchen sinks online. I am planning to have our sink remodeled into something beautiful and spacious. My mom and I are having a hard time with our current kitchen sink. It is too shallow and small that is why wash plates, pots and pans become a tedious task. Aside from that, we don’t have enough space to move our things. A real bummer!

Anyway, I hope our landlord deducts the expenses from our monthly rent.

PC or External Hard Drive

My computer is working slowly now. I think it is because of all the image files I have stored inside it. Anyway, I am planning to either buy an external hard drive for this or buy a new computer. As we all know, my computer and the internet is my source of income. And if they get busted or disconnected, I will be left penniless and without income!

So, what do you think is the best solution? A new set of personal computer or an external hard drive?
