Today is the 23rd of January, that means I only have 5 days more to go for the last credit card bill I need to settle for the month. As I said in my previous post before, every week I have a credit card bill to pay off that is why I am always nervous and stressed out. It’s a non-stop battle to find money to pay them all off.
One of my four credit cards has already offered me a debt settlement. They temporarily closed my account and asked me to pay them a particular amount for the next 12 months with fix interest. Well, I was glad when they did that at least I don’t worry about the compound interests it will accumulate if they keep my account open.
As for the other three, I am hoping that the two would also offer me a debt consolidation service and temporarily close my account. The other one must remain open just in case an emergency situation might occur.
Aside from these hopes of availing such services, I am actively on a look-out on how to lower bills. One of these, as I have mentioned, is to have our own family business. Hopefully God willing, we will be able to break free from these financial problems this year.
