Aside from my dream home based business of a typical Filipino sari-sari store, my husband and I also dreamed of having our very own internet café business. While most of the Filipino families have no computer and internet access at home, being a service provider for them would also be a great business niche.
Unfortunately, if you try to run one, you need a bigger capital to start operating for public usage. You need computers, KVM switches, business internet connection, space, fixtures and other things. You can’t start an internet café with two computers; you must have at least 5 or 6 to start operating.
Well, if we really want it, we can loan a capital to start the business but we have other things in mind especially for next year. We are planning to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary by renewing our vows. So, we might postpone the internet café business dream for another few years. But that’s OK, we are not in hurry. We have other plans for the family too that we need to prioritize as of the moment.
