Just this afternoon, my husband and I went house hunting. Amidst of the sun’s summer heat, we bore them all just to find that one “almost perfect” place for our family to rent. We have gone different barangays and visited some houses. Then we found one and almost closed the deal. We just said we will return if we have the money to pay for the advance rent and down payment.
Then when we were about to go to the mall to have a date, we were told that there was a vacancy at the old compound we rented. So, we visited it and saw that the vacant was indeed a suitable one. Well, it’s not as beautiful as the Outer Banks’ houses but enough to keep the children safe and be with the familiar neighbors.
Actually, we closed the deal after my husband and I finished our date. So, before dinner, I brought the children to the house and they were so excited to see it. They wanted to transfer already. But I said we will just wait a few days and we will live there. Then they went home with a smile!
