When I was a child, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Though I was afraid of blood or being injected, I believed that being a doctor is a great profession. Then there was also a time that I wanted to become a lawyer like some of my cousin’s friends who is a San Diego tax law attorney. I didn’t want to handle crimes but I wanted to be a lawyer defending the law and what should be rightly done.
But when I was in college, I ended up taking a Civil Engineering course. I decided to learn how to build houses and bridges instead of attending the sick or defending the law. Then when I graduated, I worked more in the area of sales marketing and training until I resigned last February 2008.
Now, I am an officially a stay-at-home mommy blogger. I have chosen the path to stay at home with the kids instead of reaching the high places of the corporate ladder. And when I look back, I felt no regret. It seems that being with my children and running the house is more challenging than getting a promotion at work! Being a mom and wife is more challenging than being a trainer or manager of a branch.
