Friends are part of our lives. They are the ones that make life livelier even though you felt like the light has gone out. But there are times that life would force us to decide that we should live separate ways and thus you have no choice but to cherish memories that were made with them.

It’s been almost one year and six months since I resigned as the Branch Sales Head of one of the most promising direct selling company in the Philippines here in Bacolod City. Since it opened in 2005, I was the one who headed the branch and with that I was able to forge friendship with many people especially the employees and the dealers. Over the years, we have spent countless time together while at work and even outside.

Some of the memories we have created together were spent in SM City Bacolod. It was the place where we can savor almost anything after our working hours which is 7:00pm. Some of us get together to dine and watch a movie. There are also times that we do our groceries together and then enjoy a quick dinner at any of the fast food chain to our liking.

Anyway, one of the most memorable of them all was the last Christmas Dinner I had with my staff which happened last December 2007. After a quick contest and group games at the branch, we headed to SM City Bacolod to eat dinner at Shakey’s Pizza Restaurant. There we spent the time chatting and bonding. We were really happy and took pictures while waiting for the food and even after. Then later that evening, they had a fireworks display. While some went home already, most of us watched the spectacular event with awe!

But prior to that, we also ate at Greenwich Pizza, SM City Bacolod after the success of our Second Year Branch Anniversary. Here are some pictures we took together with the staff that joined the victory celebration.

After I resigned from work, I still get in touch with a few of them especially those that have become my best friends, Vanessa and Reymund just to name a few. There were times that we text each other if most of them are in town for report submitting to their new branch sales head.

My best friend, Vanessa, was the one I always get to spend time with even after I resigned. Aside from the fact that she is always here in Bacolod City every Monday, she was very close to my children. They fondly call her Tita Van.

Here are some pictures Vanessa and I took while we ate lunch together at Pizza Hut Restaurant at SM City Bacolod. As you notice, we are really pizza lovers and we all know that SM City Bacolod got it all for us.

The pictures below were taken when Vanessa spent her day-off with the children and I. We rode the mall train, and then later we ate at…(yes, you guess it right)…Pizza Hut!

As you can see, SM City Bacolod is not just an ordinary mall for me. It is a place where I have created many lasting memories with my family and even with my friends. And I do believe that I together with my family and friends will still make memories together at SM City Bacolod, the mall in Negros that has it all!!
