Remembering the Cashier
Almost nine years ago, I was able to work as a cashier. It was my first job. It was quite challenging since everything was manually done unlike today. Cashiers of this generation easily finished their tasks since each cashier has a barcode scanner, computer with a fascinating cashiering program and a point-of-sale terminal that is automatically connected to their cash register.
Anyway, I enjoyed my time when I was employed as a cashier. I enjoy the challenge and the fun I have with my new found friends even though it lasted only for three months. I wonder where my friends are right now. It’s been almost 10 years since my contract ended.
