Most of stores and restaurants in malls today have state of the art cashiering system. They have a computer-based cash register and receipt printer like tm-t88iv. Since I have worked as a cashier about 10 years ago using the old cash registering machine, I wonder if the new system is easy to use and if, I, the cashier could see my overage and shortage on the whole of my transaction? Before, our auditor will just tell us to pay this and that when we are short. We were not allowed to see our sales.
Anyway, my experience of being cashier was great. It was my first job therefore I earned my first salary. I also learned to interact with all sorts of people and get to learn how to use a cash registering machine and transact credit card automatically or manually.
If I were to go back working, being a cashier supervisor would be a nice job to tackle. Though tiring but your day will always be challenging because you will handle many cashiers and customers.
