Houses in the US have shutters. It is like an extension windows usually found outside to protect the interior ones. There are many type of shutters. They depend on the designs or from what they are many from. One example is pine shutters; they are made in various designs called as louver, panel, v-groove, combo and batten. Below is how they look like:
Shutters are not commonly used here in the Philippines. This is somehow related to the environment we have. We don’t share the same weather with the US. But then again, shutter adds beauty to house wherein its used especially if the colors painted are contrasting.
Anyway, why am I talking about shutters? Well, I wanted to live abroad and I really like to have shutters on my house! It looks beautiful!
