People say that men get into their “nothing mode” at the end of the day. It is their way of de-stressing and if their wives as them what’s going on, they answer, yeah you guessed it, “nothing.”
I also have my “nothing moments”. Sometimes I just feel so overwhelmed with life that I want to forget everything, even for just a moment. This time allows to breathe and takes me away from the suffocating realities of my life. One of my nothing moments involves just surfing around without anything particular in mind. I would sometimes browse through articles and read about about other people’s gardens, new hairstyles, a celebrity’s faux pax, a phentermine review, shopping guides, or some gossips about Hollywood actors. Or I watch a movie. Or a I eat dessert. haha Anything goes during these times as long as they take my mind away from my present circumstance. That is already good for me. Temporary, but at least they keep me sane.
