Curtains that are best shoved to the sides are those with curtain rings that are held by the curtain rod. They are usually seen in big houses, halls and hospitals. In the latter two, such curtains are used as dividers which can be easily removed by simply shoving them away, then you get an open space.
With such use, it is best to have the stainless steel ring kind. It will last almost forever because it will not corrode with rust over time. If you use plastic rings, it will soon break over time as you shove the curtain often so better to buy one time and have it forever.
