If people want to get a life insurance, they just surf the net and look for life insurance quotes. If they find one that suits them, they just apply for it and the company will take care of the rest. So, when something unlikely happens to you, your family is assured with something.

Well, that works with people’s lives, but as for my blog, there were no insurances that could insure me of its data. When the server of the hosting company got fried, all my blog posts were gone! Kaput! No backup was done by me or by the company. The only advised they gave me was to copy and paste all the posts that were cached by google.

Anyway, I just wished there is an insurance server wherein your blog data can be stored automatically. No need to backup manually and daily or weekly! How about you? Do you wish for something like that too?

To be honest, I am a super noob when it comes to WordPress. I have been blogging for almost a year now but my experience involves more with the blogger platform rather than with WP. Anyway, I was having a problem on how to create a sitemap for this red blog. I have no idea how to do it.

Good thing, a friend of mine, Joliber of www.mapiles.com, helped me by referring a link that can instantly create a sitemap for your blog. Yup! That is right. All you need to do is key-in your blog’s URL and in a few minutes, you can get a sitemap for your blog! After that, download the file and upload it to your blog’s web host. After uploading, you can submit your sitemap at your Google’s Webmaster Tools. Isn’t that easy?!

If you don’t have one yet, you can get one for FREE by visiting www.xml-sitemaps.com. Just follow the instruction at the site.

By the way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joliber for helping me out. Muchas Gracias Señor!
