When I get home, I would check my purchases to see if they are all there and compare them with the receipt so that I can go in case there is a discrepancy. It always irks me if the printing is not clear because it is hard to read. That store really needs to replace the ribbon of their receipt printer so that text will be clearer! I will bring it up with them the next time I visit.

We buy condolence cards to let a bereaved family know we care and feel sorry about their loss. December would fill the card racks with Christmas cards, May with Mother’s day cards, June with Father’s day.

I think I should be buying thank you cards soon. Personally I have so many people to thank for, and I would always think I wish I could have a card to give. The thing is, these things are always forgotten when we make our shopping lists or when we go to the department stores or malls.

Having a stack of Thank you cards would be nice, as you can always express your gratitude to someone, anytime of the year. Gratitude is best expressed by giving, don’t you agree?

My youngest daughter got a lot of things this year. She got her hernia problem corrected and then she got a lot of presents from her godparents. So, I was thinking maybe I should sent out baby thank you cards to everyone especially this is the least I can do but when I checked out the shipping rates, I have changed heart. The shipping rates are more expensive than the thank you cards especially her godparents are from different places around the world. So, instead of sending cards, I decided to blog about them as a way of saying thank you. So far, I have done several posts at my daughter’s blog.

Finally, my wish to have our very own sari-sari store have finally came true last August 25, 2009. I know all of you have read my desires to have one and now it’s here. I thank God for the blessing and also for the people that helped me reach this dream!

Now that one dream has turned into reality, my next one is to have my word processing business back. I already have my desktop computer to use and two printers (colored and dot matrix). All I need is customers to market my services to. I am planning to service teachers who would want their examination sheets typed and printed but it’s hard because my only teacher contacts are of my children. They will not allow me to see their exams. So, that is why I am planning to sell my dot matrix to some business establishments who needs a receipt printer. Dot matrix printer is the best choice since these are the only ones that can print using duplicate computer papers.

Anyway, I think I can still do business by typing student projects and servicing other computer printing needs. All I need is a customer base. Hmmmm…where could I find them?

To be honest, I am a super noob when it comes to WordPress. I have been blogging for almost a year now but my experience involves more with the blogger platform rather than with WP. Anyway, I was having a problem on how to create a sitemap for this red blog. I have no idea how to do it.

Good thing, a friend of mine, Joliber of www.mapiles.com, helped me by referring a link that can instantly create a sitemap for your blog. Yup! That is right. All you need to do is key-in your blog’s URL and in a few minutes, you can get a sitemap for your blog! After that, download the file and upload it to your blog’s web host. After uploading, you can submit your sitemap at your Google’s Webmaster Tools. Isn’t that easy?!

If you don’t have one yet, you can get one for FREE by visiting www.xml-sitemaps.com. Just follow the instruction at the site.

By the way, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joliber for helping me out. Muchas Gracias Señor!
