Too Young

When my son asked for a mobile phone, I told him he was too young to have one because he is still in Grade One. But when he asked for an iPod, I couldn’t find an excuse why not to buy him since no one is ever too young to listen to music. The only way to go for it was an excuse of the amount of money I have to shed to get my son an iPod for Christmas!

So, to save on cost, I opted to read an iPod shuffle review to learn more about the specs and price. So far, everything is good and it made me want to have one for myself but as for my son, well, I guess he is indeed too young to handle such responsibility as taking care of a gadget like an iPod.

But as for me, I think I am getting one! LOL!

Will Be Taking Slenda Soon

I have won from a contest that has diet pills as a prize. I am kind of excited because this diet pill called Slenda is making waves in the Philippine market. Some say it is the best diet pills for women today. If these claims hold true, in a few days time, I will be taking Slenda. And if I could see results, I would definitely buy more! I want to jumpstart my lose weight goal and then maintain it with morning jogging and trips to the gym.

Gosh! I am so excited!!

Hope, Haircut and Jewelries

= Call me spiritual or religious but to be honest, the only thing that gives me hope is God.

How often do you get your haircut? Describe your worst haircut.
= When I felt like having one. My worst haircut was when my have shaved my head until my hair was an inch long. :p

What’s your most treasured piece of jewelry? Why?
= I have none. I am sorry but I don’t fancy jewelries.

Tom Smith

My cousin was married to an American Military Police with a surname “Smith.” She told me that her married surname is the most common in America. Well, I wouldn’t bother to argue even movies are made with that surname. Remember Mr. & Mrs. Smith, where the BradGelina started?

Anyway, if Smith is the one of the most common surname then Tom is also a common first name. The famous classical book, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, got Tom as the name of the leading character; Tom Hanks also one of the famous actors and also Tom the cat from the classical cartoons, Tom and Jerry.

As I searched online to make a post about common surnames and first names, I came across a page at www.linkedin.com with names related to Tom Smith and there I discovered other famous people with the same name. One of the top notch profiles was related to a certain Tom Smith Development. He is currently the President and CEO at Countermind LLC and was employed several times in VP positions and even director of strategic business development.

As I ponder, the name Tom Smith is not only famous but they are also of high quality statures. It made me wonder, if I get pregnant with a boy, shall I call him Tom too?
